For Kathryn Shingleton, resident care is more than a job; it's a passion. As a Resident Care Assistant at Traditions of Beavercreek, Kathryn is immediately drawn to each resident who calls our community home. She takes the time to learn what matters most to residents and their families so she can provide personalized care and support. Kathryn has been part of the Traditions family for four years and says the best part of her day is making residents smile.

Known for her quick laugh and genuine kindness, Kathryn builds meaningful relationships with everyone she meets. It's no surprise that family members often describe her as “a gem.”

“I find every day rewarding. I try my best to make each resident feel at home,” Kathryn said.

Her dedication to making residents feel at home and bringing a smile to their faces each day is what makes her so special. When she’s not at work, Kathryn enjoys spending time with her two children.
